Chad Polley spent years as Geotab's Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Australia, where he was responsible for building Geotab's entire Australian operation from the ground up. He opened offices, recruited and trained the reseller network, and worked directly with the country's largest and most complex fleet deployments.
During that time, Chad saw a recurring problem: organisations would invest in Geotab with high expectations, but without expert implementation and ongoing management, most never realised the full potential of the platform. Resellers sold hardware but rarely had the depth of expertise to configure systems properly for specific industries and compliance requirements.
Telematics Australia was founded to close that gap. Chad's vision is simple: every fleet that invests in Geotab should get the full value of that investment — not just a tracking dot on a map, but genuine operational improvement, operational confidence, and measurable cost savings.
Today, Telematics Australia has configured Geotab systems for over 25,000 vehicles across mining, construction, oil and gas, local government, equipment hire, and concrete operations.
